Located in it’s own private valley on the side of the Blorenge Mountain Craig yr Hafod with sleep 7 adults. There is a large kitchen dining room with a Rayburn (similar to an Aga) at one end and an open fire at the other.
The dining table will seat 8, perfect for gatherings of friends and family. Next to the main room is a cosy snug with a sofa, desk and wood burning stove. There is a basic digital TV but there is no wifi or internet connection although you can pick up a decent 4G signal on a mobile.
There is a shower room and toilet downstairs and a bathroom upstairs.
There are three comfortable double bedrooms and one single (there is also an additional children’s bed under the single.

Stephen Terry opened his first restaurant 15 years ago. Since then he has found that one of the many pleasures of living in South Wales is that he is now closer and often at the source of produce that features on the Hardwick menus.

There are loads of good places to eat near the cottage but this is our absolute favourite. Josh and Hannah have done an amazing job transforming this little pub, the food is always spot on (simple but perfectly executed) For cold winter days there is a crackling fine inside and when the sun is out there is a beautiful rambling garden.
